Podcasts
I have produced over 2,500 podcast episodes in a wide variety of formats and topics. As a producer, I can handle as much of the production process as you like — from recording (local and remote), to editing, mixing, mastering, midroll ads, show notes, and publication! I can even compose custom bumpers and music beds for your show.
You bring the content, I make it sound professional.
Here are a few of the shows I have worked on, and my role in the production. Click on each show’s logo to be directed to the podcast feed.
Audio Books
I produce audiobooks as well. Whether you need help with recording, editing, mixing, or mastering, I can bring some audio “polish” to make your audiobook project shine like the pros.
Below are some of the audio books I have worked on. Click on the image to be directed to the audio book page.
Music
Music plays a vital role in setting the tone for your podcast and serves as your show’s “sonic trademark.” I create custom bumpers, intros, outros, and music beds for podcasts, commercials, and games. Since the music is custom made for you, it is pod-safe and won’t get flagged for copyright infringement by major publishing platforms. Below are a few examples of music in different styles I have composed for podcasts.
About
My name is Trent Jones and I am a podcast producer, editor, and audio post-production engineer based in Chattanooga, TN.
I developed an interest in audio at 14, when I learned to use my handheld cassette player to record the songs I was writing on my guitar. I figured out that I could record my guitar on the left channel, and overdub my voice and other instruments on the right channel, mixing them together to create a multitrack recording. Since then, I’ve been fascinated by all aspects of audio production: writing, performance, recording, and mixing. I’ve been working with digital audio for over 10 years.
I began working on podcasts in 2017, applying my music and audio skills to the spoken word.
When I’m not working in the studio, you can find me teaching people to lift weights online and in-person at Jones Barbell Club or hiking with my wife and two dogs.
